Marvel comics fans, get ready for the Captain America: The First Avenger this 2011. The American superhero film directed by Joe Johnston, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and starring Chris Evans as the title character. The fifth film offering of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is schedule to release on July 22, 2011.
The film is set in 1942, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is a military aspirant that unfits to become a US Army to fight the Nazis in World War II. He volunteered to be part of Project: Rebirth, a military top secret operation that transformed his weak body to a perfect body that posses strength and power of a super-soldier. He is now the Captain America that will fight the Red Skull (Hugo Weaving), the evil protagonist of the film wanting to conquer the whole world.
